At Low Cost Spay Neuter Clinic, we’re committed to providing accessible, affordable, and high-quality veterinary care to the public. In addition to our trusted spay-neuter and vaccination services, we’re excited to highlight an often-overlooked part of your pet’s well-being: dental cleanings. Dental health is more than just fresh breath—it plays a crucial role in your pet’s overall health. Left untreated, dental disease can allow harmful bacteria to enter the bloodstream, potentially affecting major organs like the heart, liver, and kidneys.
At Low Cost Spay Neuter Clinic, our dental cleanings include a thorough scaling and polishing to remove built-up tartar on your pet’s teeth. This not only helps control harmful bacteria and staining but also keeps your pet’s breath fresh and their mouth healthy.
Important Information for Dental Appointments:
Pets 8 Years and Older:
A pre-anesthetic blood panel is required to ensure your pet is healthy enough for anesthesia. This must be completed at least 2 business days before the scheduled dental appointment. Once completed, the results are valid for 3 months.
Heartworm Testing:
All pets must have a current negative heartworm test.
Extractions:
We are only able to extract teeth that are loose or easily removed.
Teeth that are broken, abscessed, or have deep roots typically require advanced care and will be referred to a full-service veterinary clinic.
